The She series is an exploration of color, intensity, and presence—where vibrant hues and layered contrasts create a world of both immediacy and mystery. Within these fields of color, line drawings of figures emerge and recede, at times hidden, at times fully visible. They inhabit the paintings as ancestral presences, a reminder of the love and strength of thousands who came before us.

These figures embody the sense that we are never alone: the past surrounds us, holding us, guiding us, and interacting with our lives in subtle ways. Their presence hovers between abstraction and form, a quiet chorus of memory and connection.

In playing with color—warm against cool, vivid against muted—I aim to echo the shifting ways these unseen presences make themselves known: sometimes with clarity, sometimes as whispers in the background, but always there.
